Bayou City Performing Arts (BCPA) was founded as Montrose Singers, Inc. in November of 1979. In 2005 the organization expanded to include both Gay Men's Chorus of Houston (GMCH) and Bayou City Women's Chorus (BCWC). The most recent exciting addition is Bayou City Chorale (BCC) in 2007. All Choruses now operate under the umbrella organization Bayou City Performing Arts. BCPA presents 5 concerts a year as well as for local events like the Komen Race for the Cure and AIDSWalk.
